Moving On

Time is but a moment in our lives. Everyday’s a cut scene, every week an episode, every year a season. It’s been a while since I’ve had the luxury of time to ruminate. To think and write, maybe it’s better to drown in the sea of work and not think about the other facets of life.

But I need an absolution from these chains of emotions. These mixed tumbling and viscous thoughts of you and me, those past encounters in between the here and there.  I know you had moved on, and time, like all TV serials, has moved into another season.

This break has made me realize that without letting go, no one else will be able to enter into my heart. That sometimes we just need a leap of faith, to believe in love again. There is an old man who once told me, “Fail harder”.  Because failing is what makes us human.

For a person who was never meant for this world, I have to confess that suddenly I have a hard time leaving it. Of course they say that every atom in our bodies was once part of a star... Maybe I'm not leaving, maybe I'm going home...
